Holland Michigan is a beautiful area to get married, with a variety of venues, Lake Michigan, tulips and so much more. Holland.org is a wonderful online visitors guide to events and area attractions. Not too far from Holland is Saugatuck, another beautiful lake town with a few venues. List has been updated as of 4/16/2024.
Windmill Island Gardens - 1 Lincoln Ave, Holland, MI 49423
Windmill Island Gardens is hands down the most Holland venue in Holland. The park is home to De Zwaan, a working windmill brought over from the Netherlands in 1964 and in the spring over 100,000 tulips bloom on the grounds. The venue has a gazebo area used for ceremonies that has the windmill in the background, next to the gazebo is the covered pavilion reception area. The venue holds up to 250 guests, rental includes two on site getting ready rooms, complimentary entrance and parking for guests, tables and chairs. Catering and beverage providers must be through their approved vendor list. Venue is only open for weddings from Mid May-September.
Port 393 - 393 Cleveland Ave, Holland, MI 49423
Port 393 is one of Holland’s newest venues which includes an outdoor patio and rooftop bar. The venue has 125 onsite parking spaces and the reception area can hold up to 250 guests. The rooftop area can be used as a ceremony space with a view of Lake Macatawa.
Port 393 has a preferred caterer list to choose from, and recommends you choose vendors from their other preferred lists. The venue does have an access elevator for handicap guests and both levels have handicap accessible bathrooms. Included in all rentals is set up, tear down, tables, linens, and a bridal suite.
Warehouse 6 Events - 136 E 6th St, Holland, MI 49423
Warehouse 6 Events is also downtown Holland, the 4,000 sq ft venue is more of an industrial style and holds up to 175 guests with a dance floor and 200 without a dance floor. The rental includes private 12-hour access to the venue, free parking in public city lots and garages, tables by Cento Anni, option to choose your own caterer. If you’re looking to have your ceremony at the venue, they do have an outdoor patio that holds about 100 guests.
Baker Events - 171 E 24th St, Holland, MI 49423
Baker Events is a warehouse style venue can accommodate up to 300 guests and features exposed brick, an outdoor patio, and a large dance floor. The venue is an old furniture factory and recently added a second venue space, upstairs. You can book both venues or just one, if you’re looking for a ceremony and reception space all in one or just a reception space. Catering is through Gilmore Catering only, when you book both spaces they include two extra hours of event time and use of both bridal rooms.
Piek Events at Tulyp - 61 E 7th St, Holland, MI 49423
Piek Events is a rooftop venue with floor to ceiling windows in the Tulyp hotel downtown Holland. The venue holds up to 150 guests and includes a private outdoor patio. Tables, chairs, white linens and tableware are all included in the rental, catering is on site and does require a minimum food/beverage based on date. Piek is the only venue on this list that is in a hotel, so there is no extra travel for your guests.
Boatwerks - 216 Van Raalte Ave, Holland, MI 49423
Boatwerks is located on Lake Macatawa in Holland and has a few different options to accommodate your wedding. Boatwerks Event Center includes the Black River Ballroom and the Macatawa Room. The Black River Ballroom is their larger venue which holds up to 300 guests and features a retractable window wall for a direct outdoor space. The Macatawa Room seats up to 90 guests and features wood paneled walls and a brick fireplace. Boatwerks has the option to add on the Courtyard to any reception, which can be used for a ceremony or cocktail hour space. They also offer a semi-private Monday-Thursday outdoor space for up to 75 guests called The Point which is right on the lake. Catering for Boatwerks is in house.
Merchant Hall - 438 Washington Ave, Holland, MI
Merchant Hall is a 107-year-old building features unique original features such as brick walls, maple floors, beautiful chandeliers and a tin ceiling. This venue recently opened, and has a capacity of 64 for a formal dinner, chairs and linens are included in base price. Catering is open to licensed professionals.
Merchant Hall is adjoined to Brew Merchant, which features 32 taps of unique rotating beers and ciders, craft cocktails and wine.
Macatawa Golf Club - 4600 Macatawa Legends Blvd, Holland, MI 49424
Macatawa Golf Club’s clubhouse is an elegant ballroom style venue with vaulted ceilings and large windows. They offer both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, with receptions inside the clubhouse. With their new renovations, the venue holds up to 350 guests, with the catering being in house.
Holland Fish and Game Club - 10840 Chicago Dr, Zeeland, MI 49464
The Holland Fish and Game Club is a banquet style venue, with two rental spaces. The North Hall holds up to 300 guests, and the South Hall holds up to 175 guests, they also have the option to rent out the full venue. Holland Fish and Game Club is one of the more affordable venues in Holland, with the option to bring in all your own vendors including caterer.
Ivy House - 3291 Blue Star Hwy, Saugatuck, MI 49453
Ivy House is the second venue by the owners of Port 393. Nestled on a 7 acre property, Ivy House gives you and your guests privacy and tons of space for your event. The main building, The Ivy House, as well as The Greenhouse can hold up to 300 guests each. There are two on-site suites for getting ready, as well as a large outdoor space for cocktail hour.
Their amenities include: on site parking, decor, bar services, on site managers, and more. They do require you to pick a caterer off of their preferred vendor list - otherwise all other vendors can be of your choice.
Felt Mansion - 6597 138th Ave, Holland, MI 49423
Felt Mansion is a historic restored mansion located between Holland and Saugatuck. The venue offers multiple spaces around and in the mansion to give you a one-of-a-kind feel. Felt Mansion offers multiple rental packages, but also offers custom packages to fit your needs. Spaces at Felt Mansion include: The Chapel at Shore Acres, Felt Mansion first floor and ballroom, Water Garden, Carriage House and West Lawn tent. The Chapel at Shore Acres has ceremony seating for 75 inside or you can use it as a backdrop and can accommodate up to 250 outside. The Water Garden and Grand Entry ceremony spaces have seating for up to 250 both being outside. The first floor in Felt Mansion accommodates 100 guests, while the upstairs ballroom accommodates 120 guests. The Carriage house and tent holds up to 120 guests whereas the West Lawn Tent accommodates up to 250 guests. Catering preferred vendor list includes 11 caterers to choose from.
Saugatuck Center for the Arts - 400 Culver St, Saugatuck, MI 49453
Saugatuck Center for the Arts’ pavilion rain garden and lobby areas are unique spaces that are real showstoppers. The lobby area is a very bold and modern space with large windows and views of the lake outside. The lobby holds up to 120 seated guests, perfect for an indoor reception. The pavilion and rain garden outdoor area holds up to 200 seated guests with water views and a sculpture garden. SC4A offers other spaces for rentals as well.
The Cottage at Ravines - 3520 Palmer Dr, Saugatuck, MI 49453
If you love golf, The Cottage at Ravines is the venue for you. The venue is located on an Arnold Palmer championship golf course, with plenty of woods around to make it feel secluded. The Cottage at Ravines offers an outdoor ceremony space to accompany the indoor reception space that holds up to 175 guests. The way the venue is set up, the dance floor and bar areas are in the room connected to the main reception area by two large door openings. Catering is in house, included with rental is on site coordination.
The Chapel at New Richmond - 3142 57th St, Fennville, MI 49408
The Chapel at New Richmond is a newly renovated venue just outside of Holland and Saugatuck. The chapel dates back to 1880, and also includes a tented reception space just outside the chapel. With a capacity of a 110, and the option for onsite accommodations for 7 as well as a getting ready suite in the chapel - this all in one location might be your perfect venue. Tables, chairs and linens are included with rental and they offer a $300 “walk away” fee, so you don’t have to hire someone to clean up or do it yourself.

Central Park Chapel is located in Holland and seats up to 175 guests. The chapel has open air windows for an indoor/outdoor feel, and is open for any officiant/minister. Central Park only offers ceremonies and is open May-September.
