5 Favorite Venues in Grand Haven, Michigan | Friday Fives with Sydney Marie

Here are five of my favorite wedding venues in the Grand Haven and Spring Lake Michigan area. They are in no particular order, but are all close to the beach and have gorgeous spaces. I’ve also included a little bit about each if you’re looking to book a wedding venue in the Grand Haven area. Updated: 12/30/25

1. Camp Blodgett - 10451 Lakeshore Dr, West Olive, MI 49460

Camp Blodgett’s Loeks Retreat Center is a gorgeous venue right on Lake Michigan. The venue holds up to 150 guests both inside and on the deck, and has the option for lodging above the dining room. This venue is perfect for couples looking for a getaway weekend while still being close to town.

2. The Lilley Mansion - 113 S Division St, Spring Lake, MI 49456

The Lilley Mansion offers an elevated and intimate setting for couples looking for a refined, highly personalized wedding experience in West Michigan. Known for its attention to detail and curated celebrations, the Lilley team provides customized menus, expert wine pairings, and full-service planning support to create a seamless and memorable day. In addition to the historic mansion, the Lilley brand has expanded to include Lilley Farm, a stunning equestrian estate in Fruitport featuring expansive grounds, a luxury tented reception space, and thoughtfully designed getting-ready areas. 3. Spring Lake Country Club - 17496 N Fruitport Rd, Spring Lake, MI 49456

Spring Lake Country Club is located just outside of Grand Haven in Spring Lake and is a beautiful golf course and country club. The ballroom holds up to 350 guests, with the option to have the ceremony outside on water (weather permitting) or inside the ballroom. With the rental, the couple receives one 18 hole game of golf free of charge during the week of the wedding.

4. Trillium Events - 17246 Van Wagoner Rd, Spring Lake, MI 49456

Trillium Events in Spring Lake has a ton of options for weddings. The east and west ballrooms hold up to 300 guests each and can be combined for a maximum of 600 guests. There is an outdoor gazebo for ceremonies and also a patio area for outdoor weddings with a maximum of 225 guests. The venue has in house catering, with the option to bring in dessert (they also cater dessert as well). Trillium is located right off the highway between Grand Haven and The Lakes Mall area for easy travel to and from hotels.

5. Central Park Place - 421 Columbus Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417

Formally the Grand Haven Community Center, Central Park Place’s Mackinaw Ballroom is right in the middle of downtown Grand Haven. Completely renovated in 2007, the ballroom can hold up to 450 guests. There is also the option to rent out the Acadia Theater for your ceremony, which has 184 seats. Central Park Place is right across the street from Central Park, which can be rented out for ceremonies. All rentals include dressing rooms, dance floor, as well as table and chair set up.
