Winter engagement session Downtown Frankfort, Michigan

I had so much fun meeting up with Julie and Bradley in February for a mini engagement session. They came up from Chicago to the Frankfort Michigan area for the weekend, so it was a perfect time to fit in their session. We met up at Petals and Perks downtown Frankfort for a quick cup of coffee before heading outside in the cold. The weather only got to a high of 26 degrees, and right by the water you could definitely feel the chill.

Since it was so cold we kept the session short and just in the downtown area. We walked around Main St, stopping in front of the Garden Theater and making our way back towards Petal and Perks. Julie and Bradley are actually getting married in Frankfort with their ceremony at First Congregational Church of Frankfort, so of course we had to stop by for a few portraits in front of the church. After that we headed back to our vehicles to drive down to the Frankfort beach and took some photos on the ice. I loved hearing about Bradley proposing to Julie on the Frankfort North Pier (during the summer, NOT winter!) and being able to photograph them in front of it during our session.

Julie and Bradley I wish you both the best with your upcoming wedding, I hope you both enjoy every minute of it. Thanks again for hanging out with me in the cold!
