South Haven, Michigan | Winter Proposal at South Beach Pier

I love photographing proposals; they are so beautiful, a little stressful and full of love. When Trace contacted me about photographing his proposal in South Haven, Michigan to Kylee I was so excited. These two came up from Chicago for a relaxing weekend together and Kylee had no idea!

Trace planned out the proposal perfectly. After their massages they headed down to the south Pier to walk around the beach area. It was there that Trace got down on one knee and asked Kylee to marry him. She was so shocked and it was the cutest thing ever. Trace didn’t tell anyone he was going to propose except Kylee’s dad so no one could spill the beans or give any hint.

After she said yes, we walked around and took some portraits of the two of them together around the boardwalk. Most of the photos are completely candid, I wanted to capture the excitement Kylee had, between the happy tears and just being completely shocked still. Congrats again Kylee and Trace, it was so wonderful being a part of your proposal!
