Grand Haven, Michigan | Surprise Beach Proposal with Music Travel Love | Chandni + Anand

What a crazy weekend it was, I had SO much fun and met the most incredible people. A few days prior to the proposal, I got a message from the band Music Travel Love on Instagram about a proposal happening in Grand Haven at the beach. Of course, I said yes to being open and we set up a time and location to meet before to set up and get everything ready to go.

I met Bob and Clint at the beach, picked a spot for us to set up and waited patiently for the text saying the couple was on their way. Naturally, with most proposals, things ran a little late at dinner so the sun was setting when they arrived. Chandni had NO IDEA what was going on until Anand got down on one knee.

After the proposal, Anand and Chandni invited us to the Airbnb they were staying at to celebrate. We ended up staying there until 4am just chatting about the world, life and learning more about each other. These two have been together for almost 15 YEARS! Between breaking up, college and getting into their careers they’ve been through it all together. The one thing Jesse said about them was how comfortable they were with each other, it’s so rare to see and you just know that they are that deeply in love. We even met up with them the next morning (literally 6.5 hours later) for breakfast before they headed back to Chicago.

I am so thankful for the power of social media to put this couple into my life. Chandni and Anand as well as their friends that were with them Anuj and Elizabeth, are amazing people that I will never forget.
