Holland, Michigan | Sunset Engagement Session | Chelsi + Hannah

When Chelsi contacted me about photographing her and Hannah for their engagement session, I knew it was going to be a blast. Chelsi and Hannah were on family vacation in the Holland, Michigan area and we ended up finding a small cute park to take photos in not far from their rental. Of course the day we picked for the session was LITERALLY 95 degrees, but we made it work and got some incredible photos.

I asked them about how they met, and a little bit more about their relationship. “We met on Chelsi's first visit to the University of Kansas to learn more about the PhD Sport Psych program. Hannah was an incoming master's student and we became instant friends once Chelsi arrived at KU. Working closely together through the Positive Coaching Alliance Initiative and within the program, our friendship grew into a beautiful relationship. We started dating in Feb 2019 and moved in together later that year. Shortly after moving in together we adopted our first cat, Serena, and then a few months later we adopted our second cat, Cassius. Hannah finished the master's program this past May and a week or two later she proposed! We have technically only known each other for a little over two years, but it feels like forever!”
