September Wedding at Spring Lake Country Club

Terrin and Jack’s wedding at Spring Lake Country Club in Spring Lake, Michigan was one for the books, literally! Their beautiful wedding was the first (and probably only) wedding to be held on the green at SLCC. The ceremony was held right next to Terrin’s cousin’s memorial tree, which was just so special. It was seriously an honor to be able to photograph their wedding, and of course it was a blast all day long!

For mid September in Michigan, we lucked out with the most gorgeous weather. The rain during the week stopped, and it was about 70 degrees outside and sunny. The day started with Terrin getting ready with her mom and the first looks between Terrin and her dad as well as Terrin and Jack. Terrin and Jack’s best man Connor had a little surprise for Jack during the ceremony, Connor gave him ring pops instead of the real ring. I also have to say both of Terrin and Jack’s dogs were AMAZING during the whole ceremony, they just hung out and were so behaved.

I asked Terrin how Jack proposed, “We were visiting Colorado February 2nd 2017, and decided to take a hike in the Rocky Mountain National Forest to some frozen waterfalls. At the top of the falls Jack asked his sister to take a photo of us (he never ever does that) and I turned to make fun of him and he was down on one knee. He got me the ring of my dreams!”

Thanks again to Terrin, Jack, your family, friends and all your animals (including the two goats, seven ducks and 28 chickens). I loved meeting all of you and spending your engagement session and wedding day with you. I wish you both the best in your marriage!
