My 30th Birthday Self Portraits

When I started this birthday portrait series at 22 I was just having fun and didn't really think much of it. Now I'm turning 30 and this series means so much to me now.

Documenting my 20s and all the changes that happened since moving into my first apartment. I moved into a different apartment, changed jobs, met the love of my life, quit my job to go full time with photography, got married, Jesse changing his career path, three cats, a dog, my grandma's passing, traveling all over for weddings, having a large cosmetic surgery, and so much more. My 20s we're a wild ride of finding myself and deep diving into "what I wanted to be when I grow up". I'm so excited to see where my 30s take me, I know it's going to be fun.

This portrait series gives me a chance to let loose, have fun and just let my personality come out. I don't know when I'll stop doing them, but I'm really excited for the 10 year to really look back and see the changes of maturing and getting older.

Here are a few of my favorites from my 30th birthday portraits. The ones with Jethro and Morrison make me laugh every year, they still don't like the camera!
