Elegant Destination Wedding at Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club

Ciara and Joseph’s May destination wedding at Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club in Clarkston, Michigan exuded an atmosphere of timeless elegance. In keeping with the venue's overarching theme, the couple chose to embrace a black attire wedding. Throughout the day, numerous special touches and meaningful details added an extra layer of distinction to their wedding celebration. From including their dog Dakota at the bar, to fun fact napkins and even a cigar roller at their reception, every element of their day was well thought out and beautifully executed.

Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club can be found at 9085 Big Lake Rd. Clarkston, MI 48346. The Station stands as a glass house nestled amidst a pine forest on the property. This venue boasts elegant decor and offers a sweeping panoramic view of both the lake and the golf course.

Upon arriving at Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club, guests are gracefully ushered into a picturesque fountain area, making it the ideal setting for wedding ceremonies. The venue comfortably accommodates weddings with up to 325 attendees. Furthermore, the wraparound veranda complements the indoor space by providing an inviting outdoor area for guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural surroundings.

I asked Ciara about their proposal, “Joseph took me to one of the Austin famous parks that we took our pregnancy announcement pictures at. Our pregnancy announcement pictures were very important to us because we started trying and immediately were blessed with our son weeks later. He told me we were going to go watch the sunset before dinner and I believed him, then he surprised me. I always said I just want to be surprised!”

Speaking of surprises, Ciara had a custom song recorded for their first dance and reprised the song for their private last dance at the end of the night.
